Searching for Businesses to Join New Retail Notification System The Valparaiso Police Department is searching for business owners, loss prevention officers and managers of retail stores to join a new Valparaiso Retail Notification System. This new system will allow police to notify businesses of suspicious activities, crimes reported at retail locations and general safety alerts through emails. Crimes can be averted when businesses communicate with each other and police. A strong email network between retailers and police will be beneficial to everybody and help keep Valparaiso a safer community.
