The Valparaiso Police Department’s Community Relations Division was established to enhance partnerships, communication, education and crime prevention throughout the community. Strengthening relationships between law enforcement and citizens continues to be a top priority within the department.

The Community Relations Division consists of numerous officers throughout the department from many different divisions. This division and team of officers are devoted to building relationships and enhancing the quality of life in Valparaiso.
